WD-4 Wide Angle Conversion Dome for Ikelite Underwater Housings

The WD-4 Wide Angle Conversion Dome is a flexible wet-mount solution that brings dome port benefits to your existing Ikelite housing—without replacing the original port. It is designed to fit directly onto Ikelite ports with a 3.9-inch diameter and installs in seconds without tools or modifications.

Because it is a removable wet lens, the WD-4 can be added or taken off during the dive. This allows you to move freely between wide-angle scenes and close-up or macro subjects without being locked into one setup. Even with the dome attached, a large portion of your camera’s zoom range remains usable.

Underwater, flat ports tend to narrow the field of view due to refraction. The WD-4 compensates for this effect, helping restore a wider and more natural angle of coverage similar to what you see above water. This makes it easier to capture larger subjects, reefscapes, and immersive wide-angle compositions.

The dome must be used fully submerged, as it relies on a water layer between the accessory and the housing port to function correctly. Over-under images are possible, but you should expect a visible double waterline due to the dual optical surfaces.
