The Canon EOS R5 II is not directly compatible with the 200DL Underwater Housing for the Canon EOS R5 (Mark I) #71764 due to differences in camera thickness, which prevent the newer model from fitting properly in the existing housing.

To use the Canon EOS R5 II with Housing #71764, you must replace both the camera mount and the housing back. This kit includes both components. However, this modification does not support the R5 II's power on/off switch. To manage battery life, we recommend utilizing the camera’s power save functions when using the R5 II in the R5 housing. The updated 200DL Underwater Housing designed specifically for the Canon EOS R5 II offers improved ergonomics and full access to this control.

This modification is non-destructive, meaning the original Canon EOS R5 (Mark I) can still be used in the housing with its original mount and back.

The camera mounts and backs are NOT interchangeable. To prevent potential damage or restricted functionality, it is essential to use the correct mount and back with the corresponding camera.
